Every dream starts as a spark.

For me, MNK Suites began with one simple question:

What if there was a space where beauty, wellness, and holistic practitioners could thrive side-by-side — each building their own brand while feeling part of a larger community?

That question became the foundation for MNK Suites — a modern coworking concept blending independence with connection for creative healers, stylists, and entrepreneurs across Durham, NC.

The Moment the Vision Became Real

When I received the keys to the building, it wasn’t just a set of doors — it was the start of a dream in motion.
The first walk-through was quiet except for the sound of possibility: empty rooms waiting to become sanctuaries for creators. I could already see the soft neutral palette, natural light, and textures that would make the space feel calm yet professional.

The weeks that followed were filled with early-morning site visits, flooring samples, plumbing plans, and design sketches. I met with my general contractor, plumber, and engineers — each conversation shaping what MNK Suites would become: a space that feels good to work in and to be in.

Building More Than Walls

What I’ve learned is that building a business isn’t just about construction or décor — it’s about clarity and community.
